About Chief DL2139
Chief is an intelligent, handsome, and playful young man, who will never stop making you laugh... He is guaranteed to steal your heart!
Chief is full of beans; he will go and go and go and loves to play. He cannot miss his daily walks, he will make sure you don't forget by sitting next to his lead and woofing softly!
Chief is looking for a family who will take him on lots of adventures so he can explore everything. He needs plenty of mental stimulation for his active mind, and a secure yard to keep him safe. As he's so smart and motivated by food, you will have lots of fun learning new things together.
Chief adores kids but does tend to jump when he’s over-excited. He’s doing very well learning not to jump, but until he gets the hang of it, he’s not suited to living with young children.
He is an excellent watch dog, watching the world go by and alerting his humans of people walking past the house or knocking on the door. Chief is also an excellent alarm clock, waking you up in the morning with his cold, wet nose or his paw on your face, hands and feet.
Chief will need practice with socialising with little dogs as he can be quite full-on. With larger dogs out and about though, he likes to play. At home though, he's best as your one and only so he doesn't have to share his stuff and gets all the pats to himself. He's not suited to chooks.
Once the day is over and he is all worn out from activities, Chief’s favourite spot in the house is snuggling next to you for a nap and watching TV.
If you can welcome Chief into your home, please email DFL to apply.
