Good morning from this big oaf of a boy, Sammy. Sammy is a 7 year old ban dog mix. His owners had to relocate overseas and sadly he was not able to join them. Don’t let his age or size fool you, he is a gentle goofball who’s world revolves around playing with his favourite toys (as you can see pictured). Sammy absolutely loves playing fetch and will always bring his toys back to you. He is house trained although happy to be outside as well. He is not a barker, except to alert you of something. He is well passed the puppy stage, so doesn’t have all those puppy behaviours like digging, chewing ect. He knows to go to the toilet outside only. Sammy is quite happy just laying in the backyard and playing with his toys. He travels in the car well. Sammy has been attacked and injured by males dogs previously; thus, would prefer a home on his own or if there is a female canine companion. Sammy knows how to sit & drop. With his big size, he sometimes forgets this, so would benefit from a family that can provide ongoing training - also his new family will need to be accepting of likely having slobber all over them! 🤣 if you can give Sammy a home to spend his golden years in please get in touch with Angel Paws.

Adoption details
First you need to email and inquire about whatever animal you are looking at to find out more information. If you believe this animal may suit you we will discuss the adoption process and go from there. All our animals are located in Townsville, North Queensland. If you are interstate or not a local the Angel Paws team are more than happy to answer as many questions you have about the animal to ensure they are the right one for you. We are also able to provide more pictures from the animals foster carers to assist you on your decision. The rest of the adoption process all depends on those first steps.
