About Fergus
Are you looking for a quiet, dignified companion to spend your days with? Do you have a calm and loving household? Then we’ve got the cat for you!
Introducing Fergus — He’s a 7yo settled house cat looking for a steady home to be spoilt in. He is fairly independent and would be fine on his own during the day, but if you're home he enjoys following you from room to room and getting an occasional head scratch. He's fantastic at supervising the activity of the house and to remind you in true cat fashion that he's number one. Fergus mainly just wants one-on-one snuggle time each night (in fact, he can get quite insistent that he gets his night time snugs!) He has a generally calm character, though he will perk up for a few specific toys (like dangling a ribbon in front of him).
He bonds strongly with people and is very affectionate in the quiet way that cats often are, he may not be rambunctious like a kitten but he makes up for it with his faithful loyalty. He could live with other cats but would prefer to be on his own, that way he can have aaalll the head scratches and all the prime sun baking spots. He could live with older children if they respected his boundaries but we think he would be happier in an adult home (adults are usually better trained in the art of cat rules aka if I meow whilst sitting next my full food bowl, it means it's empty, no matter how full you humans seem to think it is!).
All up Fergus is super handsome, loyal, faithful, a terrific companion cat, no fuss with just the right amount of adorable floof. He would make such a great addition to any cat savvy household that needs more purr in its life <3
