About 💙Sapphire a True Gem - Deaf💙
Sapphire is a true gem. She has raised her babies now and has had all her vet work done. Unfortunately Sapphire was used to have litter after litter despite only being probably 2 years old. When she came into care she was skin and bone. With all her vet work done now she will no longer have to endure that. It is believed she is a Turkish Angora cross. Sapphire has the most stunning ice blue eyes. She is totally deaf and requires an indoor only home due to not hearing but also her colouring.
Sapphire missed out on her kittenhood through becoming a mum so young. She is making up for lost time now. She loves to play and keeps up well and truly with her kittens.
A loving gentle natured girl it is felt she will be happiest as an only kitty or adopted with one of her kittens.

The Adoption Process
1. Choose a cat
It's essential you choose the right cat that suits your family and home. Most of our cats are available as singles but some cats are only available as 'bonded pairs'.
2. Participate in an interview
We do everything possible to ensure our cats go to loving and suitable homes. The adoption application helps us understand your circumstances and, if suitable, make recommendations on which cats may be more suitable.
3. Meet the cat/s
We'll arrange a meet and greet, with the cats, at the foster carers home. Each cat available for adoption is currently living with one of our amazing foster carers, located all over Sydney. The suburb for each cat is labelled on the cat's profile page.
4. home inspection
If all parties are happy, we will then arrange a home inspection. This is to ensure the information provided is genuine and the cats have a suitable home. Please note that all volunteers work full time so in most cases it will be after work hours or weekends, depending on your location.
5. finalising vet Work
All cats are adopted out desexed, vaccinated up to date and microchipped. depending on the cat's age, condition rescued or time since rescuing, the vet work may not be complete.
6. pay deposit
A non refundable deposit of $100.00 will be required to hold any cat. Please note we do not hold cats if you are unable to take the cat when it is ready. If you are not ready at the moment, please only apply once you are ready.
7. pay the remaining balance
Typically, this is $150 as we charge a total of $250 for each cat adopted. This fee contributes towards the vet bills & care since rescue.
8. START YOUR TRIAL ADOPTION
All cats are adopted out on a 2 week trial adoption to make sure it is the right fit for everyone.
We reserve the right to decline any applications.
