About Pirate Jamieson
Pirate Jamieson is such a divine little dog. He loves human company and will show you his affection with kisses and excitement when you arrive home. Once you settle he is happy to just have a snooze near you or lay in your lap. Pirate loves to get out and about. This includes short walks, drives in the car or joining you on outings. He can be apprehensive when meeting new people but quickly warms up to them. He just LOVES his humans.
He loves walks so much. He gets very excited and is currently pulling on his lead which we are working on. Fortunately as he is only small this is not a big issue and given how quickly he has picked other things we are confident we will be able to correct this behaviour fairly quickly. While he didnât seem to know any commands upon arriving into our care, his desire to please means he has excellent recall and has been quick to learn how to sit.
Pirate Jamieson is great with all dogs large and small. He currently lives with another dog and has met many dogs of all sizes who he has been curious about and approached. While he is happy to be around dogs he is not interested in playing with them, his main focus is on his humans, but he would be fine living with a quiet dog who did not need a playmate, just company, preferably a female.
Pirate Jameison is such an easy dog that he could suit a variety of homes. He needs a home where his desire for human companionship is welcomed and appreciated. While he is happy to be at home he would love to be a part of your life and join you on walks, drive and outings where possible. His new home would need to continue with his basic obedience training, though he is such a pleasure this isn't a chore!
Pirate Jamieson is simply a great dog with all the good dog qualities you would hope for. Anybody would be lucky to welcome him into their home.

Adoption details
We are a community fostercare network, not a shelter, and our dogs and cats are cared for in private homes. Note that we are very careful where we rehome our dogs and cats and we have an intensive process. If you want a quick turnaround we are not the group for you. If you seem like a good match for the dog of your choice we will organise a telephone chat, a meet and greet and a property check. We offer a six-week full refund, free assistance for six weeks for any issues, and a lifetime takeback policy with a fifty percent refund of the adoption fee, and of course an invitation to our adoptersâ Christmas party.
We care for our dogs and cats and we want you to as well. We know that genuine applicants have no trouble with this process and understand that if we refuse you a dog or cat, it is because you are not the best match for that pet.
Our commitment to the dogs and cats in our care is total and we treat each one as if we are passing on a family pet. This may not suit you so we point out that there are equally great dogs and cats available in pounds, shelters and with other rescue groups.
