About Portland 🧡
This handsome little boy will melt your heart ❤️️ Portland is in foster care with 2 bigger dogs, all of which he gets along well with. Portland is your typical active, playful pup. He loves to explore everything in the garden and play with his toys and furry friends. He does like to think he's the boss, so having an older dog in his forever home to teach him some good doggie etiquette, would be ideal. He has a beautiful, friendly yet mischievious nature!
Portland is being socialised with young children on a daily basis and is learning basic commands. He is crate trained and toilet training is well underway. With ongoing training in his new home, Portland will grow up to be a loyal, well mannered young man. We believe that he would be best suited to a home with another dog and/or the company of his humans.
We are looking for a family or person who is willing to put in the time and effort with training and socialisation for Portland. Someone who understands the needs of both a Mastiff and a Staffy, who has experience with these breeds and is looking for a medium to large dog would be ideal. He will need continued socialisation with other dogs during the puppy stage and into adulthood, as well as ongoing training so that he grows up to be a well mannered and socialised boy. He is a beautiful natured puppy, and given the right environment we are sure that he will grow up to be an extremely loyal, well mannered family member.
Portland has commenced his Puppy school training at Coast Animal Health Lake Haven, and can ‘sit’, ‘drop’, ‘crawl’ and very quickly learning ‘stay’ and ‘come’. He is walking well on leash, doing so much better with socialisation and perfecting his toilet training.
Portland is located in Lake Haven, on the Central Coast, NSW. His vet work is now complete and he's ready to find his forever home.

Adoption details
If you would like to express interest in adopting, we ask that you send through some info about yourself, your family and home, if you rent or own (rental agreement required if renting and rates notice required if you own) and what you can offer this gorgeous baby. Our aim is to find the best homes for our babies, not necessarily first in best dressed, so a good detailed application will make you stand out from the rest.
Once we have received your email outlining the above, those who we feel may be suitable, will be sent an Adoption Questionnaire to complete. Your enquiry will then be passed onto the appropriate carer and successful applicants will be contacted via phone.
