About Ariel
Ariel is a playful fun loving staffy. She loves people and loves being taken for walks. Ariel would suit a family with gentle kids 10+yo as she can be a bit timid at first. She walks nicely on loose lead, ignoring cars, lunged playfully at passing dogs. She is into jogging as well. She enjoys belly rubs and cuddles. She will sit on command. Volunteers say "Interested in other dogs but absolutely no aggression. Lovely temperament. Takes treats nicely. Initially a little timid but much better as walk progressed". Volunteers say “Affectionate, food driven, very friendly”, “Pleasure to walk!”, “Very sweet , energetic dog. Pulls on lead but not a problem to walk her. Loves her treats. She dug holes, and buried the treats! She is adorable and loves to run!”, “Very lovely and affectionate dog, a pleasure to walk her" She has a smooth coat and weighs 22.2kg.
Garden: Needs a home that has more space as well as a garden for exercise and regular walks outside.
Suit Part Time Worker: Copes alone for short periods, with training possibly longer but presently does need someone home part of the time.
Good with Kids: Shown to be good with kids in the controlled environment of the Shelter.
Medical notes
She comes desexed, C5 vaccinated, heartworm free and microchipped. Also included for the love and health of our dogs is a free Health and Wellness Voucher with our DR Vet.
Adoption details
DoggieRescue is a charitable organisation and as such we rely very much on volunteers to manage our adoptions. We answer initial adoption enquiries by email or phone and then arrange an appointment for you to meet some of our rescue dogs.
At DoggieRescue we believe our dogs deserve to find that special someone who will love them and look after them forever. We know that there are homes out there that are willing to accommodate one more little member of the family and dedicate time to their well being.
