About Dolly
Dolly was a very young mum and had to grow up very fast when she arrived into foster care and shortly gave birth to 8 adorable babies.
Since then she has learned how to become a dog and act her actual age.
Although her breed mix may make you think she is large in size, she inhabits a small kelpie body which is lean in size and stature .
She is good with other dogs and may suit a home with another dog who is playful and confident with her bossy cattle dog manners.
She may suit a home where she is an only dog as long as her new family are inclusive of her need for daily exercise and socialisation with the world.
Dolly has shown to be good both inside and outside and may actually suit a home where she can sleep either indoors or outdoors.
She is great inside with her toilet manners and crate training but shows no anxiety having to sleep or be outside during the day or night.
She will need good secure fencing of at least 6ft to make sure she is safely contained.
Dolly is kind and gentle with young kids and would easily suit a home with these. She is very protective over her family and likes to make sure they’re safe and secure with her around.
Dolly can be wary of older male humans as her past isn’t so nice. So a home that is confident with her handling and socialisation with positive interactions with such is best suited.
Dolly is located in the lower hunter valley and her adoption fee is $400.

In the ENQUIRY SECTION please explain in LENGTH some basics about yourself/ your life/ your household and what type of life you can provide for one of our rescue animals.
If successful, you would be contacted by phone, where we will talk about your enquiry and potentially organise a meet and greet between you/ your dogs/ your family and the potential candidate
From there, you can either take your animal with you if the meet and greet was successful and their vet work has been completed- or if the vet work hasn't been completed, you must wait until it's finished before taking your new friend home which will be organised between yourself and the foster carer.
Every animal has a 2 week trial period.
