About Duke
Duke is a 12month old staf. Unfortunately his owner is devastated that he can’t keep Duke. Duke has been loved and cared for with the view of this being a forever home but sadly it’s not.
He’s been fed BARF as a diet and is healthy and happy
Duke is sweet and loving.
Duke has gone to work with his owner on work sites.
He’s had a few training sessions with Scholars and collars.
He is currently having daily training and will continue for a month or more. Trainer Vicki Burton.
Duke was confronted by an aggressive Shepard and poodle as a pup so has developed lead reactive symptoms from the ordeal.
He sits and stays and Heals but needs continued training for fabulous manners. He is good with foster mums dogs but at present I’m looking for him to be only dog in family.
His food bowl has been handled as a pup and is gentle with food.
He loves raspberry, cola or lemonade ice blocks.
Duke doesn’t dig or bark generally
Duke needs someone or a family that will love him forever no matter what. He likes to be with his human and is a great companion. Duke is stil a puppy so don’t be fooled by his size. Duke occasionally chews items as all puppies do. He loves his toys and loves to play and has silly staffy hoons around the yard. He can use a doggy door and sleeps well threw the night. Duke is house trained. He is left inside alone and has not done anything wrong.
He has been homed with 2 inside cats and can walk threw the home on lead without reacting to the cats but I will say untested off lead currently
Duke is looking for a furever home with a 16yr commitment. Staffies are loving and want to be apart of the family inside amongst the action and love so only consider if this is the way he will be apart of the family. Duke will need continued training to keep what he’s learnt imbedded and a mindful owner
