Medical Notes - Arnold has an overactive thyroid and requires a tablet morning and night to keep it under control. His new owners will need to be committed to taking him for 6 monthly check ups and a blood test to make sure his thyroid levels are being kept under control.
Arnold joined our rescue as a shelter transfer after being left at a rental property with some other elderly cats. His owners just upped and left him locked inside the house until real estate found him. Arnold is a really friendly old dude who is just looking for a retirement home who will spoil him for the rest of his senior years.
Arnold LOVES his food, and will yell at you the minute he sees you go for his bikkies. He is a bit of a chatter box, and would suit a home with humans who are happy to listen to his chirps of affection, screams for food, and loud hellos when you have been gone for even the smallest amount of time. He will need a home who feeds him morning and night instead of unlimited food, as he will eat until he pops.
Arnold would suit a settled home who have time during the day to keep him company. He wouldn't mind sharing his home with another relaxed kitty, but would also be fine living on his own. Being a senior man he doesn't have a lot of patience for things he doesn't want to do, and would prefer a home with older or no children so he can just do his own thing.
Please get in touch with us if you would like to know more about our gorgeous man, or to arrange a meet and greet.
