About Rudy *On Trial in His New Home*
*RUDY IS CURRENTLY TRIALING HIS NEW HOME - NO MORE ENQUIRIES/APPLICATIONS PLEASE* Meet Rudy, he’s a lanky, loyal and loveable lad whose foster family describe as “a big goofball!” He is confident and happy around other dogs. He gets along great with his foster brother & sister and would benefit from being in a home where he has at least one other canine friend. Being a large boy he would be best suited to a household with medium to large sized dogs. He is not a fan of cats as he has been teased by a few in the past (his words!), so a cat-free home is a must.
Surrendered to us for rehousing through no fault of his own, Rudy loves human company too and will offer you a big sloppy kiss when you first meet him. He is very enthusiastic and friendly - sometimes forgetting just how big he is and for this reason he would be best suited to a family with older aged children as he may accidentally bowl the littlies over with his playful exuberance.
This clever young dog is a fast learner and an eager student who would benefit from continued basic training. He responds to affection as well as small food rewards during training sessions. Rudy is calm on the lead and stays by your side though will need more practice in his forever home as he has the potential to be a very strong dog. He is also developing his confidence when transitioning into a car as it was all new to him when he first came into care.
Due to his foster family having an indoor cat Rudy currently spends all of his time outside and happily sleeps in a kennel. He is an early riser and enjoys bounding around in the long grass, chasing after balls or encouraging his foster brothers to play with him. He would benefit from a medium to large sized backyard to work off his energy.
Rudy has a lust for life that is insatiable and his funny personality is guaranteed to leave you in fits of laughter!

Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
