Finally the day has come where our not so little Pete is ready to start looking for his forever home. Pete came into our care with his siblings when he was only 150gms and very underweight. We have hand raised him since he was three weeks old, which has made him so loving. He had severe cat flu as a baby, and sadly only him and his sister "Sparrow" were strong enough to pull through. One of Pete's eyes was so badly damaged from the cat flu, and despite our best efforts to save his eye, his eye lids eventually fused shut.
Pete has just recently had surgery to remove the damaged eye ball so that it doesn't cause him any problems in the future. Being one eyed doesn't slow Pete down AT ALL! He has lived one eyed since he was three weeks old, and knows no different. He's the happiest little man who has so much love and energy to offer to his new family. He loves to play and explore, and loves nothing more than to smooch himself all over his humans. He's an incredibly active little man and his new home will need to make sure he has lots of toys and goodies to explore. He oozes confidence and mountains of love ❤
Pete will only be rehomed to a busy house hold. He needs lots of stimulus, toys and action. He needs a home with other animals, or older children to keep him busy. For his new owners sanity, Pete will not be rehomed to a quiet household where he will become bored.
MEDICAL NOTES - Pete has had severe cat flu as a young kitten. He has had a couple of relapses during his time in our care. He is currently off all flu medications and is flu free. There is a likelihood of Pete breaking out with mild flu signs during his life time. These will normally occur during times of stress (surgery, illness, stressful changes). This can easily be looked after with some medications from a vet. We will explain this further when you come out to meet little Petey 🐾
Please get in touch if you would like to meet our loving little bubba ❤
