About Cino
From her beautiful little "milk moustache" to her funny little personality, there is no denying that Cino (short for Cappuccino) is a unique little girl. Cino is going to need a very special home. Although still very much a puppy, Cino has some definite “quirks” to her personality. There is evidence that Cino was taken from her mummy much too early as she does have some behaviours which are consistent with this and whoever adopts Cino will need to understand that she is a very unique dog. Cino is an active girl. She can get overstimulated and overwhelmed when she is in a chaotic environment. When stressed or needing comfort, Cino will find something to suck and knead (as if feeding from her mummy). After observing Cino do this to the arm of the couch several times, we have introduced a small, stuffed toy, which she is now finding and using when she needs to. When excited, Cino can bark and although she is improving, Cino does need someone to continue to redirect her when necessary. Cino would definitely not do well in a home with young kids. She much prefers routine and structure to noise and chaos. Cino is ok with most dogs but she has decided there are a couple she doesn’t like. Her behaviour when meeting new dogs can be a bit forward so any existing dog would need to understand that Cino sometimes does not have a braking system in her brain. She does love to play with other dogs but can be a bit noisy and rough in play. Some dogs are fine with this, some think she is too much. Cino does need daily exercise. This will help to get some of her energy out, give her routine and teach her some more social skills. She does really love people but can be a bit “over friendly” and demanding of attention. We have used crate training to give Cino some much needed time out and she has responded very well to this. Cino is an extremely sweet girl if you can see past her overzealous personality. She will be incredibly loyal and with time and training, an understanding owner and lots of love, Cino will be an incredibly family member. If you think you can offer Cino the training, routine and long, happy life she deserves, please fill in an application. PLEASE NOTE: This pet is located in Kingaroy.
