About Quinlan
*****Specific Rehoming****
Quinnie is needing that someone special, to continue with her next chapter in life.
One that understands her needs for a safe and calm environment. Being young and just a bit gorgeous, Quinnie has had a lot of unwanted attention from people without a safe space to remove herself, when overwhelmed.
Because of this, she had developed unwanted behaviors, that gave her that space she desperately needed, and to relieve the constant pressure she felt under.
STRICT PROTOCOLS are required to be followed, when Quinlan is being introduced to new people.
In foster care she has improved immensely, showing a great resilience and ability to learn.
Quinnie requires an inclusive home without a lot of strange people coming and going, and no children.
She is very happy to go to her safe crate on the occasion, when there are visitors or social activities in her foster home.
She would do best in a with previous Border Collie/ working breed experienced home.
One that understands the drives and mental stimulation required.
Ongoing obedience and Behavioural training is required. Continuing with Quinnies' new learning from her foster home and to build on her confidence and bonding. Someone willing to step up and advocate for her so she need not worry, because you've got her back.
Quinnie is crate trained, house trained, will sit and wait for her food and loves playing with toys. She gets along famously with other dogs and has lived with cats. Quinnie loves spending time with you and would need someone who can give her what she deserves. She is highly intelligent and a quick learner.
