On Hold
He's BLIND, he's BRAVE, he's BIG-HEARTED, he's BOLD!!!
He's C E L I O ...
CELIO is an amazing brown and white boy who faces his daily CHALLENGES with CALM and CAPABLE COMPOSURE... As you would expect from a blind dog, CELIO appeared to be CLUMSY and CONFUSED on his first day in his new foster home. He even fell down some stairs and the doggy door presented a real CHALLENGE! When he attempted to follow Holly (his fur buddy) when she slipped under the flap, CELIO found himself in a facial COLLISION with the wall... However, the CLEVER fellow has even learned to duck down at the right moment.
Like all blind people and animals, he relies on his other senses for CLUES and needs to proceed with CAUTION in all new situations. I CALL this COURAGEOUS as the blind often have no CHOICE but to CHARGE forward and hope for the best. They need to have CONVICTION in their own abilities and CALCULATE each step forward... They often display CONFIDENCE which shows their enormous strength of CHARACTER and this enables them to live a rewarding life in spite of their disability...
I really want to CONGRATULATE our foster CARERS - CAROLINE and Warren - for the marvellous effort they are putting in to CELIO's welfare...
