About Gem and Rani
Gem and Rani
We have come a long way since being picked up from the streets of Cabramatta...and are now ready for our forever home.
We are still getting used to living with humans so we would suit a kind and patient family.
At first we were both so scared and liked to hide behind things in our room. Now we like to roam the house, say hi to uncle Joey (house dog) and mother Bootsy (house cat), she likes to give us a little hiss if we get too close but we love her anyway.
We are sisters and would love to stay together, we always play together and keep each other company.
We both love to eat and are very food motivated so we can easily be bribed with a treat.
Gem: I love to have pats now that I have realised how nice it feels. Today I sat in my foster mum’s lap for the first time and had lots of snuggles <3 It was the best. The more cuddles I get the more I want! I’m always up for a good play and love to chase things. I’ll let you pick me up but it’s not my favourite thing in the world.
Rani: I love being with my sister and other animals. I am very curious and enjoy sitting in the room with my humans. Exploring and sitting in front of the heater are my favourite things to do. Being the smaller sister I am still a little bit scared to have pats but I’m getting there. Sometimes I’ll hiss at people, but only because I need time to get used to you. I’ll climb into your lap and eat out of your hand and once I can trust you I’m sure we’ll be best friends.
