About AC0877 - Nirvana
🎸 HELLO FELLOW ROCK GODS ! IT IS I NIRVANA 🎸
Nirvana is the name, and if you were wondering, I do have a teen spirit!
Like most young males, I can be easily misunderstood. I am a shy boy, but that doesn’t mean I don’t want to hang out, I just need a bit of help learning what it’s like to feel safe and loved. I’ve recently started to really enjoy head rubs and chin tickles, and I’m okay with being picked up for short periods of time too.
My favourite sport at the moment is is stork the hoomans in the house and play hide and seek with you, you wont know it but i am always close by watching you, sitting on chair ,under the table, in the cat tree, even under your bed. But open a tin of yummy food and I’ll come out from hiding in a flash!
I get on great with other cats, and seeing them interact with people helps me come out of my shell. If you already have another fur baby I would just love to meet them and have a new big sister or brother. Despite my rock and roll name, I would prefer a quieter environment with adults or even teenagers to hang out with. Shyer cats like myself tend to become very loyal family members as we grow, so if you're wanting a future trusting companion who absolutely adores you, then I'm your guy.

AC0877 - Nirvana
Gender: Male
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Colour: Ginger
D.O.B: 13/07/2016
Adoption Fee: $50 reduced adoption fee due to the risk of Feline Infectious Peritonitis.
*Nirvana's adoption fee includes vet check, sterilisation, vaccination, microchip, flea and worm treatment*
Medical Notes: Nirvana was exposed to Ringworm, which is a common fungal infection. He did not show symptoms and was given the all clear by the vet.
A kitten from Nirvana’s foster home likely developed Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP). FIP is a genetic mutation of a common feline infection called Feline Coronavirus. It is not known why some cats develop FIP and others do not, however there are a number of factors including a genetic predisposition. There is no treatment for FIP, the disease is fatal. Dogs and humans are not at risk of transmission of this condition.
There is no way to know whether any of the other fosters in the home will develop it, but after the age of 18 months old, the chances of developing it decreases significantly.
We are asking for a reduced adoption fee due to the small risk of Nirvana also developing FIP.
