About Timmy
INTERSTATE ADOPTION IS ON A CASE BY CASE BASIS
PLEASE EMAIL ME IN THE FIRST INSTANCE (PLEASE DON'T CALL AS I CAN'T ALWAYS ANSWER MY PHONE) TELL ME ALL ABOUT YOURSELF AND YOUR LIFESTYLE AND ABOUT YOUR OTHER DOG AND I WILL REPLY WITHIN 2 DAYS.
Timmy is only 12 months old, Kelpie cross, he has had a rough life before coming to us, he was extremely thin, starving, full of worms, covered in scabs and was terrified of everything, we just knew there was this beautifully natured boy in there somewhere just waiting to come out and he proved us right, his eyes said it all, he needed help and has come a long way and is now ready for his new "forever" home.
He's made great progress, he needs a kind and patient home that can build his confidence. He's house trained, loves other dogs and toys! The dog toy box is one of his favorite discoveries about living in a house.
Timmy is very smart and athletic. With the right person he might do well at dog sports. He's a very sweet and gentle boy. Only barks to alert that someone has come to the property. He's met horses and is not fazed by them.
Timmy would suit a experienced dog home, preferably with another friendly dog to keep him company. He would not suit a home with cats.
He would be great for a retired couple who are still very active and have another dog around his size, a home by the sea would be great for him as well.
Adoption details
To enquire about a dog in foster care please email the foster carer in the first instance (using the contact details listed with the dog's description).
The foster carer needs to know about you, your family, and any other pets, about your lifestyle and accommodation, and about the type of dog you want, so that they can help work out if the dog you have selected is right for you.
For dogs, foster carers will also carry out a 'home check' where we look at fencing and shelter for the dog to make sure they are adequate, and advise on anything that needs to be done to make sure your dog will be safe and comfortable.
