About Alex
Alex is ready to find his forever family.
Alex was rescued from a pound in rural nsw.
He arrived extremely underweight but always so loving of attention.
He has gained all the much needed weight and is growing into a beautiful boy.
Unsure of his breeding as no history but the pound marked him as kelpie x.
He has been well socialised in care with small and medium dogs but is not a fan of big dogs so that would be dependant on meet I'd he would suit a large dog companion.
He has a great appetite and is crate trained for night time sleeping where he is next to my bed. I wish for him to continue to sleep indoors as thats all he's known.
He travels great in the car too so would love to be part of adventures with his new family.
He is good around children just still a little jumpy so kids older then 5 probably best.
Alex will require lots of exercise on going training and mental stimulation to assure he grows up to be a model citizen.
Alex requires a home with secure fencing as he can climb my 1m property fencing but is fine in my 6ft chain link run.
We are also looking for a home where Alex does have a dog for companionship as he has been in care since he was 10 weeks and has always lived with my pack of small to medium breeds.
He gets so excited at the end of each day when all the dogs are back together and he runs around greeting them all. He is way to social to be an only dog.
Alex has been exposed to livestock and is not a fan so is not suitable to a home that has goat, sheep, etc he also has a high prey drive so a home without birds or pocket pets. He has met cats and would rather avoid then interact.
Alex is not suited for apartment living.
Overall Alex is a pretty chilled out pup but does love to run around and play. Will occupy himself with toys but also enjoy the odd game of fetch.
And as you can see by the video he loves my little dogs.
