About Oliver ~ Kelpie X (on trial 27/10/2018)
Oliver is a beautiful Kelpie X dog looking for a peaceful home with some loving humans who can give him the companionship that he deserves. Oliver is a playful and intelligent dog and is still fit and healthy at 11 years old!
Oliver is highly intelligent and well trained. He understands many commands, walks on the lead and knows lots of fun tricks. He loves going for a walk and chasing a ball or frisbee, plus the odd game of tug.
Oliver is anxious around children at home, so must go to a house with adults only. He would prefer to have a home where he is the only pet, although he does interact well with other dogs when off leash at the dog park. He definitely dislikes cats! He can react and bark at sudden or unfamiliar noises and would ideally enjoy sleeping inside, away from night noises. Oliver requires daily anxiety medication, which he will need to continue to take on an ongoing basis.
Oliver is in excellent health and requires very little maintenance apart from his medication. Above all, he is affectionate, a great companion, fun to have around and full of personality. There is nothing he likes better than lying around in the sun with his humans close by, and would love a home where he can spend lots of quality time with his new owners.
Oliver is available for adoption from the Central Coast (Gosford area). If you would like to meet Oliver, Please contact Sharron who is taking all enquiries on 0423331057 or email sstudley3@bigpond.com
Oliver’s adoption fee is $150 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.
Medical notes
Oliver is a happy and healthy dog but requires daily anxiety medication.

(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:
https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
If there is a phone number listed in the dog's profile then you can also phone for more information.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two-week trial begins on the day of adoption.
