About Tilly ~ 3 yo Mastiff x (foster to adopt 28/11/19)
Tilly is a 3 year old Mastiff x. She is the sweetest most trusting girl you will ever meet with an amazing nature, you will know this from the second you meet her. Tilly absolutely loves cuddles and being around her humans as much as possible. This girl needs a home where she is loved and given the affection that she deserves.
Tilly is an extremely quick learner and knows to sit and wait for her meals and other tricks, but is always happy to learn more! She can sleep both inside and outside but definitely prefers in because she loves being around her people. She is fully toilet trained. Tilly needs to be allowed inside for family time. Her current mum works from home (though she comes and goes) and Tilly would love to have company during the day.
A place with a secure yard will suit her. Tilly loves playing fetch so if you are happy to do the throwing she is happy to do the fetching! Tilly has great recall and will come back when called. She walks well on the lead using a halti although she is interested in other dogs and might want to go their way.
Tilly is an active girl, she loves her food but unlike some of us she struggles to keep the weight on! Tilly is friendly with other dogs but can be a little shy at first. She does however prefer male dogs and wouldn’t be suited to living in a home with another female. Tilly would be very happy to be your only fur baby and soak up all the attention!
Tilly has not been exposed to cats or pocket pets.
If you would like to meet Tilly, please contact Olivia on horvat13@gmail.com Tilly is in care in Cessnock area and is available for adoption interstate.
Tilly's adoption fee is $350 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
