About Freckles
Freckles is the perfect gentleman; soft, cuddly and gentle.
He adores other dogs and is social with young kids and adores playing and cuddling with his two best friends in foster girl, two young girls.
He shares his foster home with another foster dog and plays well with all. Unlike his breed, he isn't the most high energy dog and would suit a walk a day or a play date with another social doggie if suitable.
He hasn't shown any tendencies to escape and is suitable to live in fencing 5ft or over but would easily adjust to rural fencing for the right home.
He doesn't need another dog in his home, and is suitable being an only dog as long as his home is interactive with him. But another playful and social dog would suit him well, high energy and active dogs may wear him out too fast though.
He can be a little shy with new situations but has shown to adapt fast and well with the right home and motivation. So a home that understands that he could be a little unsure at first is best suited.
Freckles is well toilet trained, good inside and also crate trained. He walks well in public on the leash and loves to go to the kids playground with his foster family.
He hasn't met any cats since being in care but since he is so gentle we think he would do fine with any other animals he is introduced to. His new home must be looking to allow him inside as he does love to be close and comfortable with his foster family, and would love a home looking for a true interactive member of the home.
Freckles is located in Newcastle and his adoption fee is $400.
Adoption details
In the ENQUIRY SECTION please explain in LENGTH some basics about yourself/ your life/ your household and what type of life you can provide for one of our rescue animals.
If successful, you would be contacted by phone, where we will talk about your enquiry and potentially organise a meet and greet between you/ your dogs/ your family and the potential candidate
From there, you can either take your animal with you if the meet and greet was successful and their vet work has been completed- or if the vet work hasn't been completed, you must wait until it's finished before taking your new friend home which will be organised between yourself and the foster carer.
Every animal has a 2 week trial period.
