About Sisko
It is a very hard decision to part with your beloved pet but there are times you are forced to make this heart breaking decision due to ill health. This is Sisko’s unfortunate situation.
Sisko a gentle nine year old desexed German Shepherd who has been a much loved companion dog for a mature aged person. Sisko has lived his life with another female shepherd and is a very social boy with other dogs regularly attending the local dog park.
This gentle no problem
Boy is house trained and voice responsive with good manners. Sisko is still an active boy and enjoys a daily walk and playtime and is very friendly towards all those he meets.
Sisko is in care at Adamstown, so we are looking for a home as a companion dog where he can continue to be a loyal dog providing companionship for a couple or for a single person.
Sisko is good with all dogs but is not social with cats or rodents.
Please contact Linda for more information on our gentle boy Sisko.
Medical notes
Sisko is in good health and has recently had a full vet check no arthritis issues and his general health is goods. Sisko is Desexed, vaccinated and recently wormed and on flea treatment.
Adoption details
We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
