About Chevy (AV1018)
Hey there man! Chevy's the name but you can call me Chev-dog, Chev-man, the Chev-meister... you can call me pretty much anything, as long as you call me yours!
I'm a pretty cool dude who is looking for some awesome new digs and I'm wondering if they might be at your place. I've been living on a farm but country life isn't really for me, I'd like to try a move to the big smoke. I'm a real family man - I've lived with kids of all ages, cats and another dog so I should be fine to join your family no matter who is a part of it, though I'm a little unsure of new dogs at first and will need some time to adjust so maybe if you don't have a dog that would make the transition a bit easier.
I'm a polite, well-mannered fella. I'm house-trained, of course, and know basic commands and generally how to conduct myself around the house. I'm also lovely to walk on lead and don't pull you along (well, except for that initial bit of excitement of course). In the house with my family is where I want to be so please don't shut me outside all the time cos I just looooove you and want to be with you. When I am outdoors, I'll need to be in a secure yard with 6ft fencing please.
Now, one thing I'm not so great with is livestock. I don't know if you've noticed, but sheep are REALLY interesting. Like, super cool. They're just really fun to chase. I've gotten myself into a bit of hot water with the farmer next door for getting into his paddock and he has a gun so that's not a really good idea! But in the 'burbs where there are no distracting sheep I'm pretty much the perfect dog.
I'd love to join your family. Come meet me today!
Adoption details
Thank you for taking the time to view one of our lovely animals. We love them all and we hope you will too.
If you would like to know more about an animal please call Freedom on 0409 000 259. If it sounds like you and the furry creature are a suitable match then we will pass on the foster carer’s details to you so you can call and make a time to meet them.
Once you have met the animal and wish to go further then we may organise a yard check to ensure that your yard is safe and secure (dogs only). You can then take your new family member home on a 2 week trial and if you decide they are not suitable then you can return them.
If you are not sure how existing animals in your home might be affected, or you want a little extra time to get to know the nature of the animal, we may allow you to foster with a view to adopt.
