About Duke
Duke is a very affectionate and loyal dog once he learns put his faith and trust into his human.
Duke has had an awful life prior to coming into rescue and has been a victim of insurmountable physical abuse. He will need a human who is willing to help him to slowly gain his trust. Duke has been muzzled trained for public outings.
Whilst being in foster care, his rehabilitation into a loving home has seen him shine into a beautiful boy. He enjoys sitting on the couch and snuggling with his human. Although he will need someone committed to continuing training with basic manners, he has had basic obedience training and knows how to sit and drop.
Duke is house trained, walks well on a lead (more improvement required with his leash walking and recall), he enjoys car rides and a splash in his doggy pool.
Duke shares his foster home with two other dogs, however he would be happy to be an only dog and is fine being left alone during the day on his own.
Duke will need a home with out cats and small pocket pets. Duke has been exposed to sheep and is ok with them.
He would love a home where he can spend time inside with his human and sleep inside at night.
If you think you could give Duke the loving home he very much desires and deserves don't hesitate to get in touch to find out more.
Duke comes desexed, C5 vaccinated, micro-chipped, worm and flea treated and with a 'starter pack' that contains a bed, collar, lead and important information for new owners. He will also be rehomed with his muzzle and a go slow bowl for feed time.
