About Beckie DL1778
Beautiful Beckie has been through quite a bit lately and so does take some time to settle in and relax. Once she's comfortable her personality really shines and everyone loves her right from the first time they meet her. And she loves them. Especially their laps, where she’ll climb up for cuddles given the chance.
Beckie is a very devoted, loving companion dog who simply adores her people. She loves them so much, she prefers if they are home more often than not. Her ideal home would be with an older retired person or couple. As an older girl, she does enjoy her naps and will be best suited to a relaxed home without young kids. She can be a bit anxious at times, especially in winter with the stormy weather, and so will need someone who can help her with this. Despite her anxiety, she is a friendly little girl.
Beckie loves to play with dogs of all shapes and sizes while out and about and loves to go for a run… as long as it’s in an enclosed area – she’s deceptively fast on those little legs of hers! Beckie also loves going on car rides, mainly because it means going somewhere to see people, and dogs and all sorts of fun stuff that might be at the end of the trip. The exploring and the meeting new friends is the most important part of the walk to Beckie.
Beckie’s next favourite thing, after cuddles, meeting other dogs and people, and car rides of course, is being pampered. She thoroughly enjoys a good groom, which is wonderful, considering she needs it regularly to keep her coat as beautiful as it is.
If you’re looking for a companion to keep you company while you’re at home, email DFL to apply for Beckie.
Medical notes
Has recently had dental & chest x-ray on her heart. Diagnosed with level 4 heart murmur that requires monitoring, and potentially meds in future.
