About 492 - Titch
✨After 6 years in foster care, is it finally time for Titch to shine? ✨
🌿🌺 ADOPT TITCH 🌺🌿
Hello, Titch here again! I’m still waiting for my own forever home... I’ve been looking for quite some time, but sadly I keep lucking out, and it’s making me quite sad. I’ve never had a family of my own... I came into foster care when I was just 4 months old, and that was all the way back in 2015, 6 years ago. My foster mummy doesn’t understand why no one has snapped me up yet, she says I’m really quite the catch!
Nature
I can be a bit shy when I first join a new home, but after a few days I start to realise things are okay, and after a couple of weeks my personality really shines through! People always overlook me because I need a bit more time than other cats to settle in, and I don’t have bright beautiful colours or fluffy fur - but my foster mum constantly tells me what a stunning girl I am, especially with my piercing yellow eyes! And you know what they say... anything worth having is worth waiting for!
I’ve started joining my foster mum on the bed for pats each night where I tend to flop around like a fish asking for pats and belly rubs. I LOVE butt scratches and smooches now, and I truly have the loudest purr ever. I promise if you give me a place to call my own I’ll show you this side of me, but to begin with, I may hiss and give you a little bat if you try to touch me at the start, but I promise I don’t use claws and it won’t take long for me to stop!
My foster mum thinks I have the potential to become a beautiful, human-loving lap cat with time and attention. I just need to find a family willing to give me that. I really need a home with stability that isn’t going to give up on me.
Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I really love the company of other cats and would prefer to have a feline friend in my new home - one that is friendly and confident with people would really help me learn to trust my new family. I tend to follow the other cats in my foster home around, and they help foster mum get closer to me and even touch me. I’ve also lived with dogs before and I don’t mind them, so I would happily adjust to a home with those in it.
I haven’t spent much time around children but I think their loud noises would scare me and make me hide. If you are willing to give me longer to settle in and gain confidence, it could take a couple of months before I’m comfortable being around the children, then I could adjust okay to living with them.
Likes / Dislikes
My two favourite things are other cats to be buddies with and food. You can absolutely win your way to my heart through hand feeding me and patting me while I eat, that’s how my foster mum earnt my trust! I dislike loud noises and sudden movements.
My PURR-fect home is with a confident friendly cat and pawrents who are willing to give me time and patience to grow my confidence and show them what a beautiful girl I am.
