About Buddy
Please meet Buddy.
This adorable man has been in care for far too long and we can't work out why. He has shown to be a very smart boy with lots of potential in the right home. If he was to be given a chance, he will prove to you what a sweet, loving and loyal boy he really is.
Buddy is a very excitable young man who is loving life and all the adventures of being out and about. He has a lot of energy and loves to spends his days running and playing with his foster brother. He is always up for a game of ball and absolutely loves water so a home where he gets to go on outings to rivers, creeks or the beach will be essential.
Being in a home with a large yard where he will have lots of room to run will be perfect for him to burn off some of his stored up energy and he will then be happy to relax and have a hard earned nap.
While he has been in our care he has been offered the guidance from the other dogs. He is calming down a bit now that he is a bit older and is listening to what his carers are asking from him. He is a clever boy who aims to please. A home with a confident, strong leader will be perfect for him to offer him the time and patience required to help him understand what is being asked of him. Obedience training would be very beneficial to also help Buddy be the best possible companion he can be.
This sweet boy is extremely friendly and warms to new people quickly. He has become great friends with the resident dogs in his foster home and the best match for him will be a home with another desexed, energetic dog who will be happy to share lots of playtime with Buddy. He will be way to much energy for a senior dog.
The ideal home for Buddy will be one that is happy to offer him lots of time indoors and a safe, warm bed overnight so he can adjust to his transition comfortably. He is catching on to toilet training but further encouragement will be required.
Buddy is very smart and he will learn quickly with the right family at his side. Please contact us if you believe you have the right home for this adorable lad.
**Not suitable to a home with cats as he will chase**
Buddy is currently in Ballarat, VIC
Medical notes
Buddy has been desexed, vaccinated and microchipped. He has also received regular flea and worm treatment while he has been in our care
Adoption details
If you think one of our animals would be a good match for your home please email us and we will be in touch shortly after. We all work fulltime, have families and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require any other dogs in your home meeting our foster animal before they head home with you. This enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care, this is a condition of our Adoptions.
