About Khaleesi
Khaleesi is a very high energy girl who is nervous of strangers and dislikes hats. Out on a walk she is very alert, hypervigilant and sometimes quite anxious. During the day she needs to be kept busy with kongs and toys and plenty of exercise. She is afraid of dogs out walking and can lunge and redirect on the handler. We believe she is hard of hearing. She has a short coat and weighs 12.7kg.
SPECIAL NEEDS
All dogs need loving attention but some rescue dogs require extra special help. They are looking for dedicated families who can commit themselves to a greater investment in their long term health. DoggieRescue is looking for Special People. Please consider opening your heart and home to one of these special dogs.
Garden: Needs a home that has more space as well as a garden for exercise and regular walks outside.
Suit Part Time Worker: Copes alone for short periods, with training possibly longer but presently does need someone home part of the time.
Adult Home: Nervous or not tolerant of children. And/or too high a level of excitability for children to control.
NEEDS RESCUE EXPERIENCE: Many people grow up with, or own a dog who has had no bad experiences in life. A dog who is confident and well rounded. However, many rescue dogs have not been as lucky in their lives.
Unfortunately, some rescue dogs have been physically abused, neglected and left traumatised. These dogs need someone with previous rescue experience in rehabilitating traumatised dogs with an in depth understanding of and experience in building relationships with these kinds of dogs.
Medical notes
She has a short coat and weighs 12.7kg. She comes desexed, C5 vaccinated, heartworm free and microchipped. Also included for the love and health of our dogs is a free Health and Wellness Voucher with our DR Vet.
Adoption details
DoggieRescue is a charitable organisation and as such we rely very much on volunteers to manage our adoptions. We answer initial adoption enquiries by email or phone and then arrange an appointment for you to meet some of our rescue dogs.
At DoggieRescue we believe our dogs deserve to find that special someone who will love them and look after them forever. We know that there are homes out there that are willing to accommodate one more little member of the family and dedicate time to their well being.
