About Micah
location - Spring Hill
Snuggle scope:Micah like attention on his terms, which is generally when you’re lying down so he feels secure.
Cat scope: Has been fostered with his sister and other kittens. Has become more curious as he’s developed confidence, will occasionally get into spats.
Dog scope: Untested, but would be cautious. He would probably get used to them as long as he could have his own space, but it would take time.
Kid scope: Untested, but would probably better suit older kids.
ABOUT:
Micah spent the first month with his current foster carer hiding in a gap under her bathroom sink, only coming out at night. These days, Micah loves good cuddles and scratches, but only on his terms. He likes to jump up next to you when you’re lying in bed, as he finds the height of humans looming over him intimidating. But once he’s used to you, you will find Micah a lovely early morning companion, as he sidles up next to you for some special one-on-one time.
While he has made extraordinary progress in the last six months, his perfect owner will need to be big-hearted and very understanding of his quirks, as he will likely never be a snuggly lap cat. He has grown much more used to humans being around, but is still quick to flee to a safe space at the sound of loud noises or sudden movements. He’s still learning to play, but enjoys chasing a laser light, or batting light objects around the floor.
Micah’s foster carer is so proud of how far he’s come since those terrified early days. She can’t wait to see him in a forever home with someone who will bond with this complicated but charming cat.
