About Milly and Chilli ~pair(On trial 13/3/16)
Milly and Chilli are a bonded pair of Jack Russells who are besotted with each other. Milly (girl) is 6 and Chilli (boy) is 9 and they are the sweetest little couple. They are always happy and always gentle and playful. Both enjoy each others company and are always sharing doggy kisses and meals.
Milly is a playful 6 year old Jack Russell x who is so sweet and gentle. She loves playing in water and if the water bowl is big enough she puts her front paws in there as well. When playing in the paddling pool in the yard she splashes and scratches around and has the best time. She loves being a lap dog and will sit happily next to you on the lounge or in the yard and puts her little paws and head on your lap.
Milly knows how to sit and is house trained. She loves taking slow walks around the block and on the beach with her dog friends. Apart from her life partner, Chilli, Milly is also in care with other small breed dogs and has always been playful and gentle with them. She loves bouncing around with them and gives them "play bows" to invite them to play.
Chilli is an adorable little 9 year old Jack Russell x Mini Foxy who refuses to show his age. His favourite thing in the world after his life partner Milly, is fetch! He will chase down tennis balls all day long if you let him and he always brings them back. He will drop it at your feet and if you haven't noticed he will pick it up and drop it a little closer or paw you gently on the leg to remind you he is still playing.
Chilli is such a relaxed little man and loves rolling around in the grass and following his foster parents around the yard when they're gardening. He will invite himself on your lap and will sit politely for treats when asked. Chilli is house trained and walks very well on a lead. He is such a gentle little soul. He is also in care with other little dogs and is playful with them and always finds his ball being stolen off him by the younger pups. You may have noticed he has the cutest little underbite but this does not affect him at all with his food or with his fetch.
Milly and Chilli \ are lovely, quiet and adaptable little dogs and would be happy in a home where it would be just them or with other small, friendly dog/s. They have been wonderful with the children they have met on walks and are very gentle. They need to sleep inside and are comfortable on their own beds or your bed and sleep through the night. They are great with dog friendly cats. They would be best in a home without pocket pets (rabbits, guinea pigs). Are you ready for this joyous pair to liven up your home?

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
