About "Riah" – The Lady in Waiting. Brisbane
Riah is 33 kilos of magnificence, who has been waiting patiently to find a home. Riah hopes someone will realise that extra-large girls with bald bottoms can be amazing dogs, if they’re given the chance. She’s currently our longest stayer in foster care, and we’d love to see her find her special person soon.
Riah’s life hasn’t always been easy, so she needs kind, patient humans to help her continue to come out of her shell. Riah might benefit from a confident medium-large male canine companion, or would also be fine as only dog with plenty of human company. Riah is becoming increasingly loving, and gets very excited when human visitors arrive. The more affection she receives, the more she has to give in return.
Riah loves her food and her daily walks. She doesn’t need a big yard, although she does love rubbing her back against her favourite “scratching tree” in her foster home!
Riah needs a home without cats, and would be best with older children who can handle her size and strength. Most of all, Riah needs someone who will appreciate the beautiful soul that she’s been saving to share with her forever family. Will you be the one to give Riah a chance to shine?
