About Celene
Celene is a BLIND girl who was left in a terrible way. She was terrified, matted and did not like humans touching her when she came to us. Our vets bathed, clipped, vaccinated her under sedation.
After a few days she coped with being gently stroked on her back and be picked up. Slowly she recovered and began to enjoy cooked chicken and rice. When she was desexed, we found she needed all her teeth taken out as they were all rotten. What an ordeal for a mature little girl.
Celene never barks, except for food and lies quietly by your side. Celene is now comfortable to be picked up and handled like other dogs. She just needs to know what you are doing, so talking to her is important.
She is social with other dogs. She needs a quiet adult family who are happy to spoil her for the rest of her life. She would cope with long working hours and would also be fine in an apartment. She has a low shedding coat and weighs 4.1kg.
SPECIAL NEEDS
All dogs need loving attention but some rescue dogs require extra special help. They are looking for dedicated families who can commit themselves to a greater investment in their long term health. DoggieRescue is looking for Special People. Please consider opening your heart and home to one of these special dogs.
Medical notes
She comes desexed, C5 vaccinated, heartworm free and microchipped.
Also included for the love and health of our doggies, is a free Health and Wellness Voucher with our DR Vet .
Adoption details
DoggieRescue is a charitable organisation and as such we rely very much on volunteers to manage our adoptions. We answer initial adoption enquiries by email or phone and then arrange an appointment for you to meet some of our rescue dogs.
At DoggieRescue we believe our dogs deserve to find that special someone who will love them and look after them forever. We know that there are homes out there that are willing to accommodate one more little member of the family and dedicate time to their well being.
