About Sadie
Sadie is an energetic, clever girl. She is social with other dogs. Sadie is shy with strangers and does need encouragement to walk on lead. She needs to trust. She has a short coat and weighs slightly more at 8kg.
Adult Home: Nervous or not tolerant of children. And/or too high a level of excitability for children to control.
Suit Part Time Worker: Copes alone for short periods, with training possibly longer but presently does need someone home part of the time.
Needs Doggy friend.
Garden: Needs a home that has more space as well as a garden for exercise and regular walks outside.
RESCUE EXPERIENCE: Many people grow up with, or own a dog who has had no bad experiences in life. A dog who is confident and well rounded. However, many rescue dogs have not been as lucky in their lives.
Unfortunately, some rescue dogs have been physically abused, neglected and left traumatised. These dogs need someone with previous rescue experience in rehabilitating traumatised dogs with an in depth understanding of and experience in building relationships with these kinds of dogs.
Medical notes
Sadie comes desexed, C5 vaccinated, heartworm free and microchipped. Also included for the love and health of our doggies, is a free Health and Wellness Voucher with our DR Vet .
Adoption details
DoggieRescue is a charitable organisation and as such we rely very much on volunteers to manage our adoptions. We answer initial adoption enquiries by email or phone and then arrange an appointment for you to meet some of our rescue dogs.
At DoggieRescue we believe our dogs deserve to find that special someone who will love them and look after them forever. We know that there are homes out there that are willing to accommodate one more little member of the family and dedicate time to their well being.
