Small Female Fox Terrier Mix
Located in New South Wales
Available for interstate adoption
Chrissy is a 2 year old female Foxy x. She is a typical foxy, loves to play and very affectionate. She would be an ideal companion to another small dog about the same age with energy to play. She loves curling up on the lap of her adopted mum or dad or just being close. Chrissy currently sleeps on her foster carer’s bed, along with her fur brother and sister, and is allowed free access to the house when someone is home.

Chrissy is house trained and can use a doggie door. She jumps fairly high so needs at least 4 ft. fences.
Chrissy enjoys chasing balls and knows to bring them back to you. She walks well on a lead. She enjoys walking on the beach and is becoming more confident going into the waves, but her new mum and/or dad would need to be patient as she is still a little unsure. She will follow you into still water though up to her tummy. She loves going in the car and travels extremely well.
Chrissy would make an ideal companion for an active household with another little youngish dog companion.
For more information or to meet Chrissy please phone foster carer Marion on 0413-407-738. Chrissy is in foster care in Kempsey, Northern NSW (3 hours North of Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Chrissy's $400 adoption fee includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. *** See all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
