About Bandit
Bandit is a 2 year old medium sized dog; he is confident, easy going, delightfully playful and has a cheeky streak that is sure to make anyone laugh.
Bandit is good with other dogs that are not over the top and excited , he tends to do better with females and older males as he can be a little dominant with the younger males.
Bandit does not like people getting too close to him or touching him whilst he is eating bones, this is an area that we are working on and he is progressing quite well, this behaviour can be easily managed if the proper instructions are followed. Bandit is a fast learner so being consistent with his training would be a great advantage to him and yourself.
Bandit has been introduced to one cat and was not overly excited by her, but every situation is different he also does well with children.
Bandit is a great all rounder, loves to go for a swim, run, would happily enjoy a walk or easily fall asleep with you on the couch, his way of greeting you is to roll on his back and beg for a tummy rub. When I come home from work without a fail Bandit will be at the back door just bursting at the seams waiting for a cuddle.
Bandit is an indoor dog and is at his happiest when he can be part of the family. When he is spending time outside he will need secure fencing and lots of toys to keep him company while you are at work or going about your daily errands. Bandit is great in the car and always wants to sit upfront investing in a dog restraint or crate would be a great option if you would like him in the back, he is crate trained and would happily be in one if needed.
Bandit’s favourite game is fetch and he loves all toys that squeak, I could watch him play for hours he is very amusing, he gets very proud that he has caught the ball so he does a little happy paw prance that will have you in stitches, when I’m hanging up the washing or watering the back yard we will have a game of fetch, he is not very good at dropping the ball but we have been working on this and he is picking it up very quickly. His second favourite game is tug, this is a great way to get him tired and resting.
