Makalu is a big dog with a big personality to match ! he is extremely strong on leash and walks best on a head collar. While he has a friendly nature it is important that he is well managed. Other dogs can be intimidated by makalus sheer size and strength. For this reason he is not suitable to run free in dog parks but will need twice daily walks on leash. Mak has a magnificent coat that requires daily grooming. He is an intelligent dog who is keen to please and quick to learn. To help mak settle into his new home we have included a free planet k9 training course. Mak is suited to a home without children as he may accidentally knock them over. He is not suited to a home with cats as he is likely to chase them.
