Oscar self-rescued himself from a life of misery after being kept in a concrete shed. When taken in he had developed calluses all over his feet and was in very poor condition. Rowan and his partner leanne rescued oscar and provided him with a loving and caring home in which to recuperate and heal. Now marks a major milestone in oscars odyssey as he is ready for permanent rehousing. Oscar is a beautiful fun loving dog who really deserves a special family and home
Medical Notes
Oscar has been receiving b12 supplement to boost his iron. He has also been on a course of antibiotics, and is on a mild anti-inflammatory steroid dose (for arthritis) as well as general painkillers and this has improved his quality of life immensely. Through this course of meds the swelling on his side has reduced remarkably and his foot, though still big and lumpy is healed over as best it will and does not seem to be bothering him and he certainly has a lot more energy and bounce
Although not complicated there will be a need to continue his medications probably for the rest of his time. We are more than happy to contribute to any of these not overly expensive ongoing medical costs
