The solution to shelter pet killing is coming - is your local animal shelter going to be there?

We need your help to save the lives of homeless and abandoned pets.
It's not often that you get to be a part of history, but on the 30th of September every animal lover in the country has a chance to get involved in a grassroots revolution set to change the face of animal rescue in Australia.
At the National Summit to End Pet Overpopulation, international speakers Nathan Winograd and Mike Arms will be presenting their successful animal sheltering techniques. Shelter and rescue groups, along with state and local governments, will be presenting their progress and strategies aimed at preventing abandoned animals over the past two years.
There are new and better ways to save more pets. Proven methods to find more homes, change legislation and affect real change in our communities. If we as a community are serious about elimination of shelter killing, then cannot afford to allow our animal welfare representatives to miss this.
There are a limited number of places, so please act now.
As the front line defenders of animal welfare, only we can make a difference to the unacceptable levels of euthanasia of healthy, adoptable pets in Australia.
