Sunshine Coast Daily asks - have you got room for Rocket?

We're always really pleased to see the media supporting local rescue. Check out this great article from the Sunshine Daily...

Rocket is a three-year-old blue heeler cross, and as his name implies, he is ready to spring into action at a moment's notice.

He is a fun-loving, friendly and social dog who loves everyone, especially children.

Rocket would be ideally suited to an active young family which has the ability to take him for long walks and plenty of play.

He needs lots of exercise, and would make a good companion for someone who likes to run.

Rocket was previously placed in a home a year ago, but the family found they did not have the time to give him the attention that he deserves.

If you already have a dog, Rocket would make a good friend, as he is social with other dogs.

4 Paws Animal Rescue would also like to thank all the readers who called about Fly, the puppy. She has now found a new home.

Kitten season has also begun again, and it appears that 4 Paws will busier than ever this year. If only people would spay and castrate their cats!

Last year, 4 Paws found new homes for 160 kittens during a six-month period. At least these are all de-sexed, since this is part of 4 Paws' Kitten Adoption Program.

More people are needed to join the organisation’s foster program, whereby volunteers put time and effort into socialising pets ready for adoption.
