(SA) Greyhound Adoption Program committee resigns

It is with much sadness that I must inform you that the committee has resigned and will be handing back the running of the program to the GRSA in the next few days. Following several frustrating months of trying to deal with the DCMB we have decided that enough is enough and we can no longer cope with the perceived lack of support from both the DCMB and the GRSA. While, from the outside, the issues may seem petty we, as a committee, feel we can no longer continue to bang our heads against the wall. We know that this will have an immediate effect on the welfare of several dogs but if the GRSA are as committed to the program as they tell us it should not be for long.

We would like to thank everyone who has helped and supported us over the past 10 trouble free years. Thanks to all the fosterers who have helped to place more than 200+ dogs into new homes over that period.
