PetRescue at the 2010 Hitwise Awards!

What happens when you, the pet lovers of Australia, answer the call to help us save the lives of pets? You get one of biggest successes on the Internets!

JB from PetRescue represented the team at the 2010 Experian Hitwise Awards in Sydney last week, where PetRescue was recognised as a a Hitwise Number 1 Award winner!

PetRescue led the Community - Organisations category in the July - December period, reaching the number 1 position for the first time. We also picked up a Top 10 Award, ranking number 5 in the Lifestyle - Pets and Animals category.

To have achieved this level of recognition within six short years is an amazing achievement. We wouldn't have reached this goal without the amazing PetRescue team of staff and volunteers, the wonderful rescue organisations that utilise our services to find new homes for the pets in their care, and of course the Australian public who use PetRescue to find their new best friend. To see our name listed alongside other award winners such as World Vision, IAG, Triple J and Google was an incredible experience.
