Voiceless; PetRescue grant announced!!!

Hey guys,

I'm making this announcement because Vickie is on the plane home from the awards, and I'll ask her to chime on into the blog when she lands... but

YIPPEEEE!! How excited are we to get this news!!

PetRescue has been awarded a $10,000 grant for the project ‘Where do puppies come from?’.  This is a two-month long public-awareness campaign aimed at raising awareness about the animal welfare issues associated with the Australian puppy farming industry. The campaign is also intended to prompt members of the community to call for changes in current laws relating to puppy farming in addition to making educated choices when adopting a pet.  

We're so honored to get this opportunity to put together a real campaign about one of the topics we're most passionate about and educate the wider public about puppy farming.
