Lady's transformation

Dear PetRescue,
 
Just wanted you to see the sort of impact your website is having. Lady came to us about a week and a half ago. She was still nursing a puppy, very scared but still the sweetest thing around. She's had a really hard life without much love or shelter, she's had litter after litter of puppies and was abused. Her puppy was rehomed within a day on PetRescue (much to her relief lol!) and we had a lot of calls about Lady but she wasn't ready to leave foster care yet. 

She's since found a wonderful home with an older lady, she sleeps in her bedroom, has company all day, a big yard to play in if she feels like going out, walks every day and a grandson to play with sometimes. Plus cuddles on tap.  She's a very special little girl, chihuahua x Jack Russell we think, and it's wonderful someone wanted to give her the chance of a loving home of her own.  The lady who adopted her lost her little dog two years ago (it died from complications of diabetes) and she said she had an empty space in her heart.  Lady was looking for a space to fill :)
 
You can see in the video that she had a lot of spirit under all the fear - look at the turnaround from scared out of her mind that we were going to hit her (but still wanting some cuddles) to a playful, happy, cheeky monkey :) She was never aggressive and always wonderful with the kids.
 
Anyway, because of PetRescue Lady now has a life of luxury, and a new owner is very, very happy.
