The Australian Cavy Sanctuary Presents 'PIGNIC IN THE PARK' 2010 Date: Sun 3 October 2010 Time: 10:00am - 3:00pm Where: Teralba Park, Cnr Pullen & Osborne rds, Everton Park A unique fun-filled family day out while supporting animal awareness! The Australian Cavy Sanctuary (ACS) is proud to once again be hosting our fourth annual animal awareness event and family fun day the “Pignic in the Park” at Teralba Park in Everton Park. This unique annual event aims to raise awareness of current animal welfare issues. It will be attended by many organisations with similar aims. We are having a Lorrainne Lea Linen party to help fundraise for 9 Lives Cat Rescue..All funds raised will go towards paying off our ever increasing veterinary bill and more importantly we will be able to pay for our much needed insurance for our up-coming FAMILY FUN DAY! South West Animal Rescue will again be holding our fantastic Book and Plant Sale on Saturday 23rd October between 8am – 3pm. To be held at Teeluk Road, in Bunbury, we will have a huge array of bargain priced books and plants on offer, with all money raised going towards the care of abandoned domestic animals in the Bunbury area. We will also have available all our information on South West Animal Rescue – so you can chat to our volunteers about become a foster carer or volunteer. This is a great opportunity to make a donation or drop of some pet food or products to help feed the animals in our care. You can sign up as a member or sponsor an animal. The walk kicks off at 10.00am from Koomba Park, Wantirna and follows the EastLink trail up to High Street, Knoxfield.
