Christmas Concerts Doggie Rescue - Sydney - Alexandria

Christmas Concerts - DoggieRescue has been chosen as the charity partner for the 2009 City of Sydney Christmas Concerts. Buckland st, Alexandria 6.30 to 8.30 pm (set up 4pm) DoggieRescue has been chosen as the charity partner for the 2009 City of Sydney Christmas Concerts which is fantastic news. The series of six concerts takes place across the city from 26 November to 6 December - starting with the Martin Place concert and the lighting of the Christmas Tree. This partnership will provide a huge boost to our public awareness meaning we can reach more people with our message of giving a pound dog a new chance for a loving home. The Christmas Concerts are also an opportunity to raise much needed funds which will help us to continue our work over the busy Christmas period as we struggle with the influx of abandoned dogs through the holiday season. Volunteers Wanted Would you like to help out at one of the concerts? We are looking for volunteers who are able to spare a few hours to set up and assist on the stalls.Click here for more information and how to volunteer. Cat Haven Fundraiser - Perth

Ladies who Disco have called it a day and their last show will take place on Saturday 5 December with proceeds going to Cat Haven. 9pm to 11pm. Giesha Bar, 135a James st, Northbridge. $25 tickets include 1 hour drinks package The trio who originally formed to organise fun nights out in Perth, whilst doing their bit to fundraise for struggling charities, said this last event was one not to be missed. GAPSA - Christmas Picnic on Dec 6th at Angle Park Greyhound Track - SA

GAPSA will be having a Christmas Picnic on Dec 6th at Angle Park Greyhound Track – 55 Cardigan Street, Angle Park SA . 12:00 to 4:00. The picnic is open to the public. There will be greyhound/family portraits (part proceeds go to GAPSA), fancy dress competition for dogs and humans, music, greyhound games, $2 BBQ and drinks (all proceeds go to GAPSA), face painting from 1-2pm.
