Teralba Park, Everton Park, QLD Sunday, November 9th 2008 The Australian Cavy Sanctuary (ACS) a non profit and non funded animal rescue organization will be hosting the second ever annual animal awareness event and family fun day "Pignic in the Park" at Teralba Park in Everton Park. The event aims to raise awareness of current animal welfare issues including the correct care of small animals. It will be attended by many organisations with similar aims including: RSPCA QLD, Animal Liberation, Pet café, Oxbow Hay Company, The Dapper Rat, Pet Rescue, Greencross Vets, Friends of the Hound, The Pet Directory, and Natural Animal Care.
