We invite you to attend Cat Alliance of Australiia Inc’s third annual Cat Welfare and Management Symposium.
This year’s theme is the proposed cat laws and regulations to be introduced in WA and their effects on you and your organisation. Key note speakers like Joe Francis MLA, will be joined by 14 other guest speakers from cat welfare and management organisations to share their views on these laws, and to understand, share and develop ideas on various aspects of cat regulation. We would also like to address the inclusion of semi-owned and feral cats into these laws.We will also hear an address by Eric Yeoh on his work with Noah in Malaysia and the introduction of their new Spay Suttle. The symposium will take the form of a conference, in which speakers from various organisations will present their organisation and their views and arguments. Your participation as part of an audience will contribute to a full and productive dialogue on the issues raised during question time.

To book a seat and receive a full program please contact Christine Yurovich via email at caa@iinet.net.au

Lunch will be available on the day for a cost of $5 or bring your own. (Please advise if you will require lunch, for catering purposes.) Morning Tea provided.

It is open to anyone interested in animal welfare and management but you must, for catering purposes and also room capacity, RSVP Christine. Only 250 seats are available.

This a worthwhile event to attend and while it may focus on cats its a great opportunity for networking and learning more about innovating animal welfare practise that can be applied with other species.
