We need: sola electricity for the haven
Although we are on the grid, electricity is extremely expensive. We need to upgrade our current wiring as there is no power connected in some parts of the shelter. We would also like to sell back to the grid any excess to help the environment and to keep our running costs down. Our flat and semi flat roofs face north and there is plenty of space for as many panels as we would need plus more.

We need: Worming tablets and flea treatment
We are in need of worming tablets and flea treatment. Many of the dogs that arrive in from the pound are riddled with fleas and haven't had any worming treatment so need this asap. Any donations are greatly appreciated!!!!!

The Geelong Animal Welfare Society (GAWS) is a not for profit organisation,that relys solely on the generous donations of the public.At present we are at full capacity,but are continually being inundated with more cases each day.We are also entering our peak kitten season with dozens of kittens arriving each day.All of these animals require food,and some where safe and warm to sleep.But it does come at a cost.This is where any donation will be greatly appreciated,and would help relieve some stress in this very busy and trying time.

We need: Scatchy Posts and Cat Furnature
Have just moved into new shelter, Happypaws Haven cats and kittens need new cat posts, cat trees, cat shelves, cat gyms etc for the cat enclosures. We have 3 areas: Kittens to 6mths, Juveniles 6-18mths and cats 18ths plus. Preferably made from wood as the cardboard posts do not last long when there is a large number of cats. Can be sealed, painted, carpeted, lino, sisal rope what ever takes your fancy but must be robust as we have approximately 50 in each enclosure with a lot less in the kitten room.
