QLD - Unweaned Kitten Rescue Network Inc

We need: Someone to babysit two 7 year old cats

Their owner is going to China and was planning to take them with her, but due to a Visa problem this has had to be put on hold. The babysitting would be for at least 6 months, with their owner paying for all food, litter, veterinary costs and anything else needed. They are up to date with vaccinations/worming /flea treatment and are healthy. They are indoors only cats, so require someone used to being careful about this.

We need: Drivers Urgently Needed

Caboolture & District Animal Welfare Inc. are in need of volunteer drivers. Our drivers are needed to transport animals for example between foster homes , from the pound or to the vets. We also have 2 Op shops so stock often has to be transported between shops. So we need volunteers with an excellent driving history, who enjoys meeting people and animals and of course like driving. Van is provided.

QLD - Australian Cavy Sanctuary

We need: Shredded Newspaper

ACS Brisbane Shelter has just installed a new room for our guinea pigs in treatment. Currently the room is already full with 10 guinea pigs receiving medical care. Sadly we cannot use our usual bedding in this room due to certain medical conditions being contagious and so that we can clean the enclosures with ease without the risk of bits of bedding accidentally falling from one enclosure to the other. We are asking for help with donations of shredded paper for the guinea pigs who are housed in this room. Any help would be greatly appreciated. We have just depleted our stock of shredded paper and currently the guinea pigs residing here are on plain newspaper. Any help with supplies would be greatly appreciated. We are willing to pick up locally if need be. Thank you in advance for your support.

We are currently in need of crates, large and small, used to transport animals from the pound to their foster carers. Winter is well and truely on it's way and some of our fosters really need coats to see out the colder months. Donations of wool, fleecey fabrics, wadding, buttons, elastic and other notions appreciated. Also any help from sewers or Knitters to produce coats would be great too! Gates and fencing materials needed. Volunteers are required to transport animals from Upper Hunter to Newcastle and the Central Coast to Newcastle. Unwanted but working digital cameras - Have you upgraded recently and have your old digital camera sitting in a drawer? Can you help us by providing free or cheap bulk photocopying? We need: Urgently need Puppy food/ Formula, Warm Bedding

Hunter Animal Rescue are currently inundated with over 20 puppies. The top of our wishlist is an urgent need for any puppy food or puppy formulae and warm bedding to keep up with our rescue pups hungry bellies in this cold weather. Any amount helps. Hunter Animal Rescue are a non for profit organisation who rely on donations and are struggling with a relentless constant inundation of puppies from local pounds.
