We need: Eucalyptus coloured colourbond fencing panels

We are looking for second hand or new colourbond fencing panels in pale eucalyptus or mist green or a similar colour to blend into a rural environment, 1.5m or 1.8m so we can fence an acre to help noise reduction. We need approximately 200 panels. This will hopefully appease our neighbours so that we can continue saving dogs and cats at happypaws haven

The Cat Defence is involved in the management of cat colonies. We trap, desex and return cats to their environments. We urgently need funds to cover the vet costs we incur helping these cats. We are a network of volunteers that value the life of all cats. We rely on the goodwill of other cat lovers to help us help them. Donations are tax deductible.

We need: Brrrr...we need a freezer please!

We are looking for a freezer to store fresh and dry food. We often purchase dry food that is close to use-by date or take donations of food that has recently expired. To prolong the life of dry food (particularly) and avoid waste, we freeze food until it is required. This not only prolongs the life of the food but ultimately saves valuable $'s. Summer is coming and that can only mean more animals will need our assistance. Our storage facility is located in Wellington Point and we can arrange to collect.

We need: sola electricity for the haven

Although we are on the grid, electricity is extremely expensive. We need to upgrade our current wiring as there is no power connected in some parts of the shelter. We would also like to sell back to the grid any excess to help the environment and to keep our running costs down. Our flat and semi flat roofs face north and there is plenty of space for as many panels as we would need plus more.

The Geelong Animal Welfare Society (GAWS) is a not for profit organisation,that relys solely on the generous donations of the public.At present we are at full capacity,but are continually being inundated with more cases each day.We are also entering our peak kitten season with dozens of kittens arriving each day.All of these animals require food,and some where safe and warm to sleep.But it does come at a cost.This is where any donation will be greatly appreciated,and would help relieve some stress in this very busy and trying time.
