Pet Store and Animal Rescue Partner up!

Great news PetRescue supporters! Another pet shop has taken an ethical stance against the retailing of kittens and puppies, by teaming up with Best Friends Rescue QLD to display kittens up for adoption in its shop front.

Angie’s Pet-cetera (love the name!) is now the most popular after-school hang-out, with children lining up to play with (and consequently socialise) the kittens requiring rehoming. Not only do the children receive a free dose of love and affection from these gorgeous little fluffballs; they also gain awareness as to how the kittens came to be ‘up for adoption’, and the importance of desexing.

The store’s owner, Angie, invites all children and their parents to come and play with the kittens, and obviously anyone keen to adopt, to her store. Just a warning though…once you see these little poppets you’re likely to fall very much in love…

Well done Angie’s Pet-cetera and Best Friends Rescue, promoting adoption as the best option in Noosa!
